2019 Harvest fest Raises Over $40,000 for starfish pack program
The Abbotsford Firefighters Association hosted their inaugural Harvest Fest fundraising dinner and dance September 20th, 2019. The event had 275 people in attendance and raised over $40,000 for the Foodbank’s Starfish Pack program.
The outstanding harvest-themed dinner spread, put on by Culinary Touch Catering, included contributions from many local food growers and producers. Guests were treated to an evening of entertainment headlined by comedian Sunee Dhaliwal. Axe throwing and Oktoberfest inspired games carried everyone into the late night where they danced to the live country music of the Tanner Olsen Band.
It was an amazing evening for our community to come together, have a blast with friends, and support a great cause!
